Round Table: Does Autodesk® promote your specific topics? Address your questions directly to the Autodesk® Decision Makers Dr. Franco Costa and Hanno van Raalte.

Tips and Tricks: Benefit from the experience of other Moldflow® Users as well as from the experience of the MF SOFTWARE and Autodesk® support teams.

First Hand Insider Information: The development priorities of Autodesk®

Congress Topics:

neu How does the location of the injection point affect the maximal bearable stress in the component?

Presented by Andreas Wüst, Simulation Engineering, Teamleader Mathematical Optimization and Crash Analysis – ULTRAISM™, BASF SE

The focus of the presentation lies on the coupling of rheological with mechanical issues. Andreas Wüst will present methods of numerical optimization which integrate the rheological interpretation of components with Moldflow® multidisciplinary into the optimization workflow, which was mechanically dominated until now. This allows a holistic, integrative, numerical optimization which includes the production process into the CAE analysis equally.

neu AMI 2012 and more: What you can achieve with new features

Presented by Stefan Kühne, EMEA Autodesk® Tech. Lead Moldflow® GSS Product Support

Quick change from AMI to the CAD tool Inventor Fusion which is supplied free of charge allows quick changes of geometry and shows the effects immediately, because it can be converted vice versa just as quickly; Fill Preview demonstrates the new, very fast fill calculation; the new Solver Technology and it’s fields of application for the prediction of the quality of results and much more – let yourself be surprised.

New Features - presented by Senior Product Manager of the Autodesk® Moldflow® Insight series Hanno van Raalte (USA)

More technical advantages than in any release before and a solid foundation for wide ranging technical developments concerning the Autodesk® Moldflow® Release 2012 promises the Senior Product Manager from the USA.

Visions - the future of Autodesk® Moldflow® - presented by Senior Research Leader Dr. Franco Costa (Australia)

From theory to validation - this is the issue of the chief developer from Australia. He presents case studies from the newest simulation enhancements. Examples are transient cooling (core heating), and the new RSC (Reduced Strain Closure) and ARD (Anisotropic Rotary Diffusion) long fiber orientation models. But micro injection molding and crystallization will be covered in his presentation too.

Surface Quality – Simulation of Tiger Stripes with Autodesk® Moldflow® - presented by Guenter Gsellmann, Borealis (Austria)

The author of the first book about the notorious tiger stripes and Moldflow® specialist from Austria shows how he manages to visualize Tiger Stripes which are well known especially in large surface components.
